Johnn,

Can you give me the name of the school, and the name of the owner of those Buffs? How long have they been there? I need a real address of that place. I have lots of chums in the UK. I would get something done without involving you. You obviously have a camera. A picture is worth a thousand words, is evidence of what goes on. Please PM me if you are up for it.

After seeing things people suggested on here, i spoke with a family member and a close family friend works there so she is going to confront the woman and tell her my problems with her poultry keeping and i am going to go talk to her my self and let her know she will be reported if not improved (god knows who to, i will just tell you dragon lady), im going to give her a chance to change (if she agrees to) if not i will let you know the details, im going to start getting pictures of me going over on a week end to find an empty water bowl and stuff like that. Its nice to see other people who don't even know them care about them, there really is some nice people on here, i will keep yous updated and let you know what the head says!!

Approaching the owner is the best thing you can do. If these are owned by a school, they for sure do not want the bad publicity surrounding a poorly cared for animal in their control. The threat of you going public is all you need and I am sure they will respect you more. Just not worth being at risk for selling anything you get that is not your property. Once you establish a legal handling of their birds it is better for everyone, especially the birds.

Having served on a humane society board for years, I know these are the things that will get action.Is there a right of way path through this area, or do you go to this school? You must establish a right to be there, and have taken photos BEFORE you confront her.

He shouldn't have any black in his tail, he should be an even Buff (Lemon) Cuckoo color throughout.

When I researched online most of the ones I saw had black in the tail. All my hens have some dark sploches of brown in the tail feathers, both buff and lemon. Do you think there's some blue splash mixed in there? The breeder did have a blue spalsh roo who was almost white.
