the pic that has bella in is were the orpington sat to hatch (but it was in the box at the other end)

Melow sat in the box in the middle, thats were Bella was born, Melow was killed though....
and thats how deep they are....
 
ooo forgot to add, the box nest boxs that have the two hens in on the pic has a sloped roof...
 
Im really hoping Bella wont go broody next year, she can the year after but just now in 2013!
 
I was hoping someone could help me sex this black Orp. I am hoping pullet since I lost the only black pullet while they were free ranging. I am almost positive the blues are cockerels. Thanks. The 2 on the upper right are about 3 weeks older.

One boy, 2 girls on the blues. My guess. One is hard to see. Nice blues, look at the tail on the one in the cornes.
