..I can watch you on the high def..Oh look at the color on that grey fox..OMG a black bear and three cubs...What is that along the fence line....why ..Its vickie..yep those are out of state licence plates on the road..just dont get inbetween that black bear momma and her three babies..yep you read that right...three babies..they were out back of the barn during that warm spell we had....I said , John...Am I seeing things..count those babies..He said, I see 3..I said , thought I was seeing things..she dragged my garbage all over the driveway..

Well after nearly 2 years of trying to get this breed, I have finally acquired some real Buff Orpingtons. Huzzah! I had a few hatchery buffs from time to time, but those were much smaller, and I had some skunk trouble and lost most of them. Now I have a nice trio, and I'm super excited to start breeding them and getting to know this breed!

I think it means they are trying to boss you around like one of their hens. You'll see them doing it to their hens, the one legged dance.

My most spoiled rooster (a buff orp) was my sweetest then MEANEST rooster. He was second in command and when my black copper roo passed away he took his job WAY TOO seriously. He did have some medical issues so I will forgive him for being mean but he had no fear nor respect for me and also became very sneaky about getting you when you weren't looking. Since then I try very hard not to over baby my roos. I love them and will pick them up but I prefer them to be a little less confident around me. lol.

Is the chick in your Avatar him? You are right down rt 1 from me, I am in Southern Chester County.

We had a blue orp that always attacked my 21 yr old daughter, he gave no one else a problem, even my eight yr old could catch him right up. He had to go live at a friends house. My 8 yr old was heart broken and paints pictures of him, keeps his photo on her locker at school ect... The good news is that we can still visit him.
