Just getting my early misfit White Orp program going. I let this oddball hen in with my White trio that I got from a fella at the Ohio Natls. He had this line for decades. No longer you can call it a Cecil Moore lines. But still have to give credit to Cecil for sharing.
She is an unknown quantity. I have a couple of chicks from here that are leaning towards being White with the same dark feathers on the tails and hackles. Would be nice if they turn out like a Columbian. Long ways to go. I just put her in with one of my 13 Buff cockerels. So, no more White experiment for her.
White male I had her with for a couple of months. IF these chicks from her and this guy start looking good I will use the pullets back to the male.
Harry's A #1 cock's first born. Looking like a little Shaffer line White boy. He would be from a Fuesting Buff Sport hen I got last year. I am to get 2 more Buff Sports. Joyce's Buff cock is the daddy who sired these Buff Sports hens. He was Grand Champion of the Junior Class for 2 strait years here at our Indiana State Fair Poultry Show. So, there is some chance of making something special from Harry's cock this season.
A solid little Shaffer boy. This widdle guys grand daddy is Harry's 13 lbs White Orp cock. Loads of potential!
She is pretty
