Post Pics Of Orps/ Orpingtons HERE

Wait never mind I found a pic it's not the best, I will try to get better tomorrow. It's hard with you're phone or camera in one hand and keeping them still with the other lol.

That looks like a slipped wing in this photo. You have Silkies, and I've known you've seen the flights curve when they have it. See if those primaries aren't folding OUTSIDE the secondaries.

I don't know what slipped wing is? and sadly something got in to my pen last night and got half of my baby chicks and him and one more of his sisters.

Hi I'm looking for Lavender and chocolate Orpingtons:) I currently have a lavender rooster and and have gotten another chick hopefully it will be a hen:) I would also like to know which colors I would need to breed to produce a darker lavender almost silver/grayish color?:)

This was made to help determine colors and color combinations. I am not very good with genetics. This is a huge help for me having something I can check and play with. It can be fun too. Good luck!!

I tried it, but no luck:/ but by looking at the Lavender I'm thinking I'm going to need a black and maybe a splash to get the Lavender and then maybe a black every other breeding? I could be all wrong haha. I know nothing about genetics other than I'm a blonde and my daughters dad is black haired and she is light brown.. And I think if you put a red rose and white rose, the white will dilute the red and make pink? like my blonde has diluted the black? I do know that blonde is the recessive gene and black the dominant, which also makes me wonder why her hair isn't black, there's obviously a mixture haha. I have no clue, I may just mess around with the Lavender and black and see what I get, if I don't get it, I can always try again but changing something:)
