Mine have much more predominant combs and they are brighter redish colored then the little pullets, they also have little red wattles under their chins.

Here is a picture I took of one today:

Now there is the occasional slow growing cockerel that will fool you, but most of the time you can get pretty accurate as to who is what by this age, they are 4 weeks.

I took a look at those lemon cuckoos. Are those considered pure orps? I have a little cockrel that is about 1/4 BR that has some light barring similar to that...do you suppose that's how they were developed? Those were some high bids. I think I'll keep that cock! He's pretty sweet anyway.
 
My new Guy, Just got him today. He has some comb damage from fighting, but I think he is beautiful
