How's everyone's birds laying in this heat? I keep waiting in anticipation for my girls to putter out and stop, but NOOOOOOO my one girl in with my KORgo has laid an egg everyday now for five days strait. And it isn't just her, my one Bamma girl is going strong. It seems like everyday in my Feran pen I am pulling three eggs out from under three girls. Pretty weird. I don't remember my Blacks laying this far into summer last year. Hope I don't jinx myself. Needless to say every single egg hit the bators. I still have three 42 egg foam bators full and with eggs waiting in line.
Hope everyone's babies are cranking along like mine.

Just one problem. I need more grow out pens. lololol

Just moved all the blues out of my second group. Added about the same number of blacks that were to be my 3rd group going out, that has yet to go out but will be soon. lololol
Remember, were only looking for the few the proud to be added to the list to be here next year. I think I see 2 girls I want for sure. Prolly zero males. I am already doing well with boys to play with.
Elimination here is a bad tail, eye color, too early for my APA's to say on legginess, but that is a whacker too.

Forgot to say there are a boy or two from DOC in here. Can you tell which? lololol
So, MAYBE two keepers in here. Not counting the EE looking girl who is 3/4's Orp and 1/4 alot shtuff! But like her anyway. I see a red/maroon and blue in the same bird with silver/white.

When she sticks her tail up like when I whistle she looks fantastic, a keeper for sure

Initially I thought this was the same girl as above, but this is another I like and should consider to make the grade, agian not too much else I am too hyped on

She is a sleeper, and IF she fills out she may make it around here. Decent tail. Like all my APA's, for the first 5 months they look gangly and all bones and then boom you have a bird. that is the way their daddy grew out.
