Hi Kassandra,

I already "know" you from the Faverolles thread. Obviously we are both members of the Fluffy Chicken Club.

I have eggs from gumpsgirl in the incubator right now - 2 weeks to go. Be sure to post pics of the chicks! Maybe they will tide me over til mine hatch.

Hey patty. Yes us weirdos with all the sweet fluffy breeds need to stick together! Haha. This will be my 2nd batch from her the first hatched 5-6. Can't remember. Anyhow I've lost a few along the way. Which is why my signature below now says 2 disowned dogs!! The ones I have are 13? Weeks and really pretty. Can't wait for them all to be grown and beautiful. This batch I'm pretty sure I ended up with one mediumish blue and 3 light blue and 3 splash.

This 11 week old boy is still with me. He has proper dark brown eye color and is slow to get his tail just like daddy Suede, LOL. He is the same shade of blue as his mother, Smoky. Gosh, I'm going to have to name him if someone doesn't take him soon! He is bred the the Americanized standard, which I honestly prefer to the imported types. Those are too Cochin-like to me.

Nice looking birds Jonny. We just moved some of our black orp youngsters outside during the warm up this weekend. Good timing, as another cool down is coming quick.
