Went to our second poultry show today in Winston Salem, NC and had a good day! Our almost 8 month old (Bama) cockerel took 1st in cockerels & RB/RV to a nice large rooster from VA. I was pleased with that seeing his young age.

We also took two pullets but there weren't any others, just a couple of hens but all in all it was a great experience. Looking forward to future shows as our cockerel ages, he is showing much promise.

My favorite of my 3 Buffs, Janice. She got to live inside (in my bathroom) for a week or so when she was little due to some pecking/bullying issues, so she is a bit spoiled.

Here is one of the other ladies all fluffed up to twice her normal size, she was trying to boss around the new roo.

Finally my oldest Blacks are starting to come out of their molt.
