I am sorta bummed for ya. I had one nice Black cockerel from the same breeding who got killed by the Racoon 2 months ago. He would have been a Dinosaur. In my photbucket there are young juvie pics of him. He started out as the runt and right before he was eaten he out grew all others in his group.
When your cruising thru the area come on over.

We are starting to get eggs from our flock of Buff Orps. Took some new pictures today and wow are they growing into some very nice looking Buffs. These are the ones that came from Doug Akers stock and Don Chandler stock. They are huge, even colored birds and it is going to be hard to decide who stays and who goes. We are waiting a while longer to let them finish growing out. Can not wait to see them when they are full size.

Well, the cold has taken its first victim at my house. We lost one of our two remaining Buff Orpington Large Fowl hens.
