Post Pics Of Orps/ Orpingtons HERE

My oldest of this year's grow outs. BOSS HOGG's daughter BOZetta.

Not much of a threat to win ANYTHING in a show but is a BOSS HOGG girl. And you know what that means!

Take her back to the BOSS for some more fun with recessive genes to play with.
Sorta a frizzly looking pullet from behind.

I have her in with FLOTILLA
Always a busy body like his Grandpa

She is a sweety. Everyone in this pen comes a runnin when I step in. They all are pigs and think it is dinn dinn time. Since this pen is right by my house I tend to chuck in alot of left overs. So I am winning her over with food. lolol

Here is one for you.
This is son of Serpico most likely. I had Serp in with some real misfits. The hope is to get something completely different.
Serpico is Black. And this is not Black.

Hatchery Orpingtons may start at 6 months old. But most Exhibition lines grow out a bit slower and mature at about 8 to 10 months old. Some even hang along till 12 months old.

Just had a wonderful afternoon visit with Jeff Thorton of Diamond T Poultry, Texas. Always nice to meet online friends in person. We did a swap: Jeff's juvenile Buff Orpington trio for one of our extra Buff Orpington young males. Nicole and Jeff named the fellow.

So here is Hall's Golden King with Nicole and Jeff.

any thoughts about gender on the two darker and one splash behind ray?

Some recent pictures of my English Orps, mostly of my Neville. He's almost 8 months old now.

Blurry picture, but it gives you an idea of his shape.

Neville and Elizabeth, she's become one of his "favorites", her feathers are starting to get a big ruffled near the base of her tail. I plan on putting saddles on a few of them soon.

Jeremy a very nice full rounded breast on Neville. He should make you some fine babies to share and enjoy. Congrats!!

Now for some of my standard grow outs and more of the BUSTOFF BIZARRE!
I have a few Lavs growing out and mostly Lav splits. This is a Blue and he is for now going to make the fisrt wave cut and get to stay.
017-6.jpg

Intersting shade of Blue. I am sure I could do better.
015-12.jpg

As I already mentioned I have 2 of these Silver Salmon Breasted Duckwings from the BUSTOFF line. Most likely from Serpico or TuT and his Birchen girls.
014-13.jpg

Here she is inbetween a most likely NOT going to make the cut Black and one of three very strange looking young cockerels who have White legs and are White with Blue. The White is Silver seeing they have the same trait as my TuT and my Duckwing in the hackle feathers. Silver is what I need for snowball White Orps from my one and lonely purebred White Orp hen who is now 9 plus lbs. I do not need 3 and will cull one for sure. BUT, IF anyone comes over and likes to have something different I will let the other go to the right person for ONE DOLLAR.
In the backround on the right is the only Black cockerel who may make the first wave of cuts
010-17.jpg

Here he is again, the Black that is
011-15.jpg

Here is the one of three who will prolly get culled very soon. And the one nicest Black in this small pen is right behind. He seems to like getting in the pics
009-20.jpg

I am in need for one good Black Brown Red male. I have a few to grow out before I narrow the field
012-15.jpg

Here is another. He has the size I need but far as genetics goes WHO KNOWS
008-23.jpg

Here he is again hiding behind one of my Birchen offpsring from TuT who is a BUSTOFF boy and his Black BUSTOFF Birchen sister.
She is a definite upgrade from her mom
007-24.jpg

My number three free Buff male from Doug's lot of 6 free Buff chicks. He is looking better.
003-30.jpg

Just to end this with an update of Feran my pure Black cock who runs things in my top Black hen's pen. He has been their since April and doing his thing.
