ok does can anyone tell me anything about orpington roosters? i am leaning toward that kind of rooster. i love this site

I used to have a Hatchery Stock BO boy named Bill Boy and he was the sweetest gentleman. He would always let the ladies eat first, and half the time he just about starved himself so they could have all the goodies! At the moment I have two Black Orp boys, both are super sweet and HUGE!

Orps are the best!

I have three orp roos.- all three are very benevolent...no prob. with any of them.

so far just in my little experience they really are the easiest to work with..personable roosters..we had one that was in show prep, he loved it so much he took it upon himself to go back in and jump up into his training pen and sing to himself..they would rather move away from you than go after you..easy going beautiful birds

this is daisey and rosey. rosey has the biggest comb and is the sweetest little hen. daisey has the smaller comb and has developed an attitude lately still love her though.

white orp chicks are all 7 weeks and looking sweet as they should be..

6th generation..1/2 english split lavender orp chicks 8-9 weeks and wow i like our results so far..big and fluffy coming on, looking like they should..

There is one pullet that has a really nice plumage and low under carriage

Beth glad you like the whites, we are working hard on them. theres lots of low carriage in there, just cant get good photos of all of them. most dont like the camera and move out of the picture when taking them..plus the flash freaks them out..
