I thought I had 3 lav pullets until about a week ago at 6 months when one turned into a roo! It still has small comb & wattles, but definitely cockerel saddle feathers & hackles!

Do you all think I am correct on my guess as far as sexes go?????? In my original post someone said they were all boys but I can definately see a difference now. I am pretty sure there are 2 lav orp cockerels and 3 pullets and then the one splash orp that I think is going to be a cockerl too.

Got some better pics of Blue steel - my Blue Orpington Roo

I agree with you from what I can see - the splash is questionable..... I would LUV to have a splash roo - im on the hunt for one myself lol...

well they are all pretty - too bad you got so many boys but it is nice you have a the mix

OH I am glad to have 2 lav boys! I made a mistake of keeping one roo in my white silkie pen and then he died and I had a hard time getting another nice one to replace him. So I Have learned to keep 2 of each color roos now. I also have a TON of eggs comming this week from Bargain in bbs orps and black split to lav orps so hopefully I will have more gals for them too. This way I can pick the best of the roos and keep them for breeding. The rest will probably be given away or sold locally if I get way to many boys.
