I've recently rescued Rosae from a lady that doesn't know anything much about chicken breeds from craigslist for $10 and was also given her sister Snow for free which was a 2 for 1 deal for $10. The I noticed that Rosae's beak was already debeaked poor girl.

aveca I am happy to just buy birds from now on. I learned my lesson. You can spend more for someone's eggs and that guy may not have a clue on packing them and they can arrive all scrambled up. There are some out there who will ship during the height of the summer when it is 100 degrees. Doug is a strait up dude and knows all about the perils of shipping eggs. I do too.

Yeup! The days that I've been tending to yours I've wanted to have a Buff Orpington of my own. Yes rosae's beak is short because some cruel person has obviously debeaked her. I got Rosae and Snow from someone through craigslist today.​
