I made one and it works great! Takes a while to get them using it. You have to prop it open at first, then prop it so it moves just a little when they step on it, then more, etc. Some take to it faster than others but they'll all eventually get it. Took mine a couple weeks all told but I probably could have moved them along faster. Especially if that's the only place they can get food. Food is a great motivator lol.

Love the feeder LOL!!! Do you know how many fat chipmunks we have around here, and blue jays? Lordy.. one of the funniest thigns Ive ever seen was the twirl a squirll feeder to keep squirrills out of bird feeders..i still cant spell squirll
