OMG I LOVE my birds from them! They are massive. Parents won at every show they went to this summer, so I ordered more eggs. Have a few due Tuesday

I seen Terry at the show. He had one Black pullet entered who placed a 5th place and was very happy. There was alot of competition in the Black pullets. A Milkey line Black girl won BV. And beat out the western favorite. Some did not like that she had a lite eye and still won BV. But it is TYPE TYPE TYPE.
A lady Mris/Miss Nelson had the best Buff. A nice lite color Buff who beat out Fred's and Doug's Buffs. I talked to Fred and he is sending me 2 of his Buff hens for me to use with my Doug Buff cock for next season. I should have them by next week. $25 each is a steal for a Terry Britt line Buff. As I mentioned I met up with a couple of BYCers. Also sold 7 Orps without even trying. Two tries, one Black and one Buff for $40 a trio. And unwillingly sold my best young Black cockerel to Paul Homer a Canadian for $50. He is a great old school Orp guy from the upper North of the boarder. And I feel compelled to share. I have several very young and hopefully equal or better quality to use in this fellas place. So all in all it was a fantastic show. Kathinmo won her beloved UK Chocs in a raffle from Pips-n-peeps. I know she is estactic. Met Jon Alden again he is our OP OSUMAN. He bought many many nice bantams including a free pair Chocs from our favored West coast breeder who I can not mention without violating BYC rules. It was a gift for his efforts in the United Orpington Club's Proboards site. Before this weekend he had just two Orps. Now he has White, Black, and Choc Bantams. CONGRATS TO JON!!
My favorite pic site to upload has a bug in them and have been unable to upload any since mid day Friday. I guess PHOTOBUCKET is not all what it is cracked up to be. So, I am reluctatantly going to upgrade my Picturetrail account to upload some of these newer pics of the BBS's show. Bare with me on that. It is frustrating!

I was wondering if Terry would be there. I hadn't kept any of thier blacks last time, but hope to now in case I decide to have a lav pen next year. I already had some really nice black hens, but they're getting up there in years. Gosh they can really pack on the pounds, can't they?

Terry lives about fifteen miles from me and I got to meet him at a local show. He is a super guy and does a lot with the 4-H. I would love to see pictures of the black pullet he showed.
