Nicole woke before we did and had alraedy discovered the empty egg shells on the incubator top and the BOBs. There were 5 when we moved them to the brooder tote.
yes, Nicole has seen many chicks hatch, including her BOBs. She still gets excited when her's hatch. Hey! I still get excited when mine hatch!
With 5 kids, we get eggs gathered very often around here in the summer.
We have two hens setting. One Blue Orpington LF with BOB and Black Wyandotte Bantam eggs and a Buff Wyandotte Bantam hen with Buff Wyandotte Bantam eggs.

I put 1 egg under a broody pullet I could not break up. In this hot weather she hatched her chick in 19 days! Those eggs are incubating without benefit of extra heat in these temps! At 106 temps, you'd better get those eggs inside quickly, or they'll cook.
