what are the "saddle feathers"?
Feathers in front of tail. You know on a grown male, the feathers that goes down on each side of tail, they are pointed, female shorter feathers and the end of feather will be round like the end of finger. Look straight down on the back, better, if you take a picture, up close and I can tell.
 
Does this help any better to know the sex? It dosent show the comb on here but by the other pic you know there is one

Thank you all. Especially Harry and Don. You all have been very helpful. Those at UOC have given us an opportunity to learn how to beter our birds. If I had not been directed to go to Mr. Wahls farm, I would have missed out on some good white Orps. He said he has a very short list of breeders who are getting his whites. Libby is excited to know he will help us out.
