Post Pics Of Orps/ Orpingtons HERE

He said he didn't know if was a she or he. I was trying to tell him about saddle feathers. It's hard sometimes to tell on you orps till they get there feathers. Find out anything on your missing chickens?
I've been telling him since she was out of the egg that she, is a SHE! Look at that face.

Nothing on my missing birds except I now know SOMEONE, NOT SOMETHING, got the pair.If anyone new comes on the place,my birds now run and hide in their runs. Never did that before. They will finally go out to range though, as long as I'm with them. No signs of nervousness until someone new shows up. Then all birds hiding in their respective runs and coops. Monty's first chicks are doing very well!

i have got some pics:), they are not very good because the chick refused to stay still so not sure if they will be good enough. When yous see the one of its face yous will think boy but if you look in its eyes it looks like a girl!

Im sure a crow tried to carry it off today when it was up in the field with its mother and brother, she/he got the shock of his/her life!! sorry if the pics dont help, the chick was kicking and screaming the hole time!

Some photos of my Orpington pullets. They are 27 weeks old. 2 of them are laying. Our names for them are not very creative. Busty, Black, Splash and Blue.

Busty.

Black (even though she is a blue)

Splash with Blue and our Euskal Oiloa Rooster.

Blue in the foreground.

So fluffy!

Just got my first orp. Black cockerel. I am hoping to learn more about SOP for him (no, I dont have the book... its on the holiday list though). He is not a hatchery bird but breeder.
The United Orp club link on page one of this thread seems skeptical. It brings you to a request for money and doesn't show a single chicken. Anyone in here have a link to images that might really help me learn how to look at him and what I am looking for or against?? (visual learner) Thank you

All I know is fluffy, but I am not a show person. Halls Family Farm does I believe, you'll find him a few pages back.

I have pictures of different ages of Buff Orps on my page. All Orps are the same in type, or supposed to be. Just imagine those birds black with a green sheen.
