Post Pics Of Orps/ Orpingtons HERE

It's interesting - one of the 5 lavender orps sprouted tail feathers today at 6 days old. The other 4 are larger than this one and haven't. We marked her/him so we can experiment to see if it works!

Here are a few of my SOP Buff Orps. Dolly, Gina, Sophia and Marilyn at 6 Months and 5 days old. Very large, well endowed girls! They are in a breeding pen with Monty, my Eng. Buff Orp. cockerel.

Nice color and full rounded breasts. Good luck with and what they produce.

Can anyone tell me if these are Blue Orpingtons or if their coloring looks right? I adopted them from a farm down the road but after looking at other photos of Blue Orps, these look a bit different. Opinions?

Is that brown feathers in the pictures or is it the lighting?

They look like they certainly could be blue orpingtons. However, they've either got some serious leakage going on there (a fault if you're showing and not something you would want to breed from) or some serious sun bleaching. You may have to wait until they molt and see what the new feathers look like once they grow in to know what's going on there.
