Post pics of stock from Ideal Poultry please !!

I've only ever gotten one WEIRD bird from Ideal.  I'll have to take a pic of her today and post it.  She was from an assorted LF Cochin pullet order.  She's not buff and not quite solid red, either.  She has little feathering on her feet and she is mainly red, but has black feathering coming in for tail feathers and some black on her body.  She almost looks like someone's experiment bird (I had a mille fleur x cochin bantam  cockerel up until last week).  So not really sure what she was SUPPOSED to be, but I think her dad was a handsome stranger who wandered into the red cochin pen one night.
Look back on my posts here, I posted a picture of my "red" Cochin pullet. See if that's what you are taking about. I agree with you though, weird looking birds

Awww I love the little polish. Do you have any new pics of them?
Heres my little chickeypoos from ideal they hatched on the 8th there's a few different polishes some silkes a pair of orpingtons and 1 Millie fluer d'uccle

These are my favorites my little black silkies and a white crested black polish

It's really warm here now like 95 everyday so the chicks go outside much earlier like 2 weeks old and they thrive like crazy . It's so warm here now I put 13 one week olds out there in the pen with my three week olds and they do great doesn't phase them at all they dig around and take dust baths right away and at night they all huddle together in a corner, they've been out there a week now and I've lost none

Got my chicks this morning. They even sent 2 extra silkies and no DOA or "peanuts". All seem to be healthy but I don't wanna jynx myself. The grey ones are my black crested white polish and the black and white ones are my white crested black polish. The white/light yellow is my sultan. The rest should be silkies. I can assume the little golden one on the top right is buff?

Now to find out what silkies I have... I know I have two black ones and I think 2 buff. I was hoping for a white or grey silkie but they're still cute. Anyone know what kind of silkie the little red one with black stripes is?

Or how about the little red one with the little bit of dark brown on his head and back? The one in the middle

Ya they're all 3 weeks old today! Their top hats are staring to come in. Here's my white crested black polish which has a very developed top hat compared to the others

Here's one of my buff laced

And my red crested red

Aww I love polish! I finally got mine today. Yours are growing up fast

Yep, pretty much same coloration, only mine is showing black in the neck feathers, too. Almost like the beginning of Brahma coloring. Barely any foot feathering. having had all their cochin colors over the years, I'd say their blues are the best as far as conformation, sheer size and feathering. The buffs and whites aren't too bad. Barred has been decent. Either laced varieties, not too bad. Partridge has great color, pattern and size (have a great cockerel right now). Red, definitely a no from your and my experiences. The only color I haven't had is black. So couldn't say.

Mine has poor black "Colombian" type markings around her neck too. I agree IDEALS blue Cochins have the best type out of the Cochins I've received from them

I am very sure that the two you are wondering about are not silkies, would need better pictures of the two in question. How many toes do they each have? Skin color? Feathers on feet, any other details
