Got my very first chickens ever today. They arrived a day early at the local Blue Seal feed store.
I've got 2 Barred Rocks and 2 Buff Orpingtons.
They've been eating,drinking and pooping almost nonstop for 10 hours now. And I've been watching them for about that long.
Will try to upload some pictures. The pics not very good but the baby chicks sure are!

These are some of the chicks I hatched in my incubator on the 12th. They are mixes from my backyard flock.

This is my broody(Midna)..she hatched two herself and we gave her two from the incubator.

Here's my week old banty frizzle cochin chick. She looks like an chick-cherub! I incubated and got 7 chicks. She's my only frizzle, and my favorite!

Here are my cute little fuzzy babies @ 1 & 2 weeks old! 1 naked neck, 3 polish, 6 rir, 6 ee's! I have comets also, but they're not in this pic. They were alot bigger than these guys at the time of this photo; so they were separated.
