The red grew up with all the other BWs, so there's no trouble. There's only one, and I don't know if it's a male or a female. Since it is the only one, and I don't want to breed them, we'll likely invite that one to dinner.

I will say that I've been impressed with my bobs this winter. It's been a mild one by our standards (low of -18F for a few days), but they've all been out in a covered pen with no additional heat and thriving. The group kept inside at temps just above freezing are laying already.

Hardy little boogers! Yes they are. My pen only has a wire roof. They put up with all the weather we get and are doing wonderfully. They do like to covey up in their Mailbox homes, lol
