I thought this was cute

daawww their so ugly......THEY'RE ADORABLE my neighbors dog caught a little Robin it is alive but he bit just under the wing and snapped it's leg it can barely walk so i have it in a kinda-wanna-be-brooder, outside so his parents can feed it, were splinting the leg tomorrow.
AWWW! That's awesome of you! Good luck! Robin nest was raided by a predator last night. Got mom & chicks. :( Her nest was too low & made it easy for the pred. Oh well, there are a ton of robins this year, so that's just nature taking care of the balance.

Top left is a black laced white wyandotte, top right is a blue laced red wyandotte, bottom left is a black laced red wyandotte and the bottom right is I believe a black australorp but she looks very similar to the two wyandottes so I sometimes get them mixed up.

I have been wanting some wyandottes for a while and I was stoked that my local farm had such a variety!

I think your australorp is bottom right. And your wyandottes are the rest, they all have That speckling on their heads. And the top right is a Splash color For sure, mine was the same pretty pale color.

aww i'm sorry to hear that, this morning we found he hopped out of his "brooder" and was pecked to death by the chicks not the adults only the chicks

Aw nuts! I find it seldom pays off to try & rehab any wildlife. Didn't stop me from trying to rescue 3 chipping sparrows that fell out of a tree we fell for firewood. I felt so responsible & I knew where some nests were. I had hoped the mom birds would adopt them. They never did. Even in the same species. :(
