I have to brag on my Rose!

Rose is now 6.5 months old and pretty docile for a RIR I suppose.
I was afraid he would get mean towards us from what I have heard about RIR roosters... but so far, knock on wood, he's good.

Cockadoodle, a most dedicated and wonderful rooster:

He was given to me w/his hens (banty)

Brewster rooster, he is young and learned all he knows from Cockadoodle. He stood out along the fence for 3 days straight and watched as long and hard as his lil brain and eyes could...then he imitated exactly and he's a darling, too! Can't wait to see him mature in beauty as some of the other rooster's I see here! Absolutely beautiful when they've matured!

Black Beauty an EE, my Brewster and Black Beauty are both strappling youngsters in the awkward looking stage...poor young lads!

And then there's Blue the Andalusian:

He's in w/2 RIR and 3 BLRW hens now that he's matured.

I'm waiting to see if I've got two or one cockerel in the Silkie chicks
I'm also waiting for the first week of December to get my new RIR bantam rooster from L&S, he's gorgous and named Strawberry YAHOO!!!

That GLW roo is a beauty...I've got 11 hens and no roo for those girls so when they get alittle too bossy I put Blue the Andalusian in w/them and they all turn back into sweet girls Am on the hunt for a roo for them nearby...
