I was thinking speckled sussex, too. Hmm. He sure is pretty.

AWSOME. i am so glad to kinda know what he is. I am going to go with your opions on breeds. Like i said, the store just had them all in a barrel, and said they were all bantums or Barred Rocks.

Napoleon, our one and only rooster as a youngster - and today (we knew he was a rooster from day one - he was always SO full of himself).

First 'attack dog' I've ever owned. Never wise to turn ones back on him. Not sure what we'll do when it's shorts wearing weather. He probably would have been 'stew' if he hadn't impressed us all with how seriously he takes the job of protecting his hens. (Note: we really haven't actually 'stewed' any of our chickens.)
