My Legbar was yellow as a chick. He is grown now, and crows, not as much as other roosters I have had. His head now looks big for his body, maybe he will grow into it.

Lol he looks very handsome to me! My first rooster was yellow as a chick too and he turned out to be very colorful. My cockerel now has no yellow so I'm interested to see how he turns out.

That's what I think all the time! Barred cochin look like baby penguins, and then they turn into zebras!

I have cuckoo Marans chicks and they are mostly black but I know they will turn barred. And my previous Legbar chicks were the basic chipmunk pattern but were so different at just 8-10 weeks.
