I have cuckoo Marans chicks and they are mostly black but I know they will turn barred. And my previous Legbar chicks were the basic chipmunk pattern but were so different at just 8-10 weeks.That's what I think all the time! Barred cochin look like baby penguins, and then they turn into zebras!
