Post Pics of your Leghorns

bantimna,
to answer your question.... my brown leghorn hen is most reserved. She will come close for treats but will not swamp me like the RIR s or BOs. She likes her distance and can be flighty. She is a beautiful bird tho and I seek more like her.

When the rains let off, I'll post more photos.
I love the white leghorns....They are very efficient layers, quiet in their demeanor and just a fine flock.....I'm planning to double the flock this summer and as you can see from our tag line we do sell their eggs of other purebred chickens, guineas, turkeys, geese and ducks.

I'll have eggs available again the week of Dec. 21 as we're sold out until then. These and our other eggs are available year round. Please let me know if you need a list of them. We full time farm, so I need to spend more time photoing the birds etc. We are blessed to be farmers and give our poultry the best of feed, sprouted grains, access to grass and fresh grown chemical free veggies..All breeds are kept separated from each other.

If you are interested in buying eggs, please do check our feedback here:

Have you have a happy and blessed day.

Mine are pretty good layers, but they're still young. Their eggs are quite a bit smaller than some of my bigger chickens... does egg size matter? My black australorp and barred rock X lay large brown eggs... the leghorn eggs are small compared to theirs.

I have exibition line White Leghorns and they give me 5 eggs a week each of them now in november And OSU I think RODRIGUEZ is right
