She's a sweetie... kinda bigger than the others... which worries me since the females are sleek and slender... hope that doesn't mean she's a Prince Charming and not Snow White! My neighbors would not be pleased at all.

NewHen, I don't know about the black spots on your hens legs but she is just gorgeous!

I have 2 Brown Leghorn hens. I KNOW both are hens, but one has what looks to be spurs.......Is this common?? Here is a pic, I hope you can see them well enough.

I have five brown leghorn hens and they all look like they have spurs. Really weird , but they are truly beautiful birds.

Spurs on Leghorn hens are fairly common and are only a defect for showing and do not seem to affect fertility in the eggs the hens lay.
