this is just for fun but the first week of january i am getting cochins,(standard & banties).

this will be the first time i am getting a standard cochin rooster.

i was wondering if you could give me some pictures of "full grown" standard cochin roosters.

and also how is there temperment. are they nice or mean. just wondering if ill have to teach him early whos boss.

I will tell you that my LF Cochin is the most docile bird I have EVER had. He is good to his ladies and easy to handle

This PoPs, he is 8 months old in this pic. He is full size boy. I hope to add one more breeding pair of Buffs this coming year. Very gentle, sweet birds. Should be very happy to have them. Have fun with your new Cochins.

Here is ours.
Yikes, he is in need of bath, to say the least. We are in the depths of winter in Alaska, so all our white chickens are dingy to say the least.
He is just about 1 year old now. Very docile.
Prefers to not be touched, just like any rooster, but once you get him, he settles right down.

My big boy Duc. He is really great with his ladies and takes good care of them. He eats out of my hand and likes to be talked to.
