What is everyone's experience here with getting 3 clutches a season out of a hen? I live in Kansas and have had no problems getting 2 in a season but thought it might be to taxing on the mother for 3 hatches, what do you guys think?

Well that is a lot of clutches how much will she eat while brooding because it varies between hens if she a type of hen that starves herself the whole time that's not healthy if she eats enough then I would let her brood
