Oldhen...she's beautiful! I think sweetgrass is my favorite color combo. Alas, my girls are blue & red....someday I hope to have sweetgrass. ..sighhhh

By the way. ..Swamperkk, I agree with Oldhen...your hen looks like a Narragansett to me too. You ought to go to Porters Heritage Turkeys site, there is lots of pictures of both.

yes i agree with both of yall i went to the site and it is a narragansett,still happy,i have the tom and hen along with silver and auburn turkeys

That baby is darling! What breed are they?

The baby turkey chick is from a Bronze Gobbler & a Broad Breasted White Hen. Another hatched this morning & it is white.
All the eggs are from the same hen & gobbler. Five eggs were given to me from a friend to incubate just for something to do.
Will post a pic. of the white one later today when it is dry.
I posted a pic of the gobbler on page 51. I am sure it is a bronze, correct me if it's not.

Love this picture. How did you convince them all to pose at the same time like this? Bribes?

They love construction sounds, my husband was using a drill. A hammer works or a skill saw.
