My BBW male got bit by a snake last night. But he is still eating and drinking and he seems not to be in pain either. Just a lot of swelling.

Im glad i found turkey people. I have had my first 2 for two weeks now and they are awesome birds. Unfortunetly i bought a BBB and a BBW. it started as a thanksgiving thing but they are so sweet i will have to get a few more that live alot longer......any suggestions. The prettier the better

In my opinion if you want a pretty bird look towards royal palms. Royal palm are smaller variety than most of the rest.

But there are a lot of varities that are eye catching.

I agree sweetgrass turkeys are beautiful. I raised several varieties last year and ended up choosing a trio of sweetgrass to winter over and start my flock this year.

I know its too soon to truly tell, but I thought guesses would be interesting. If its a he, then he is being a good mother to the little comet girls lol
