i may have to get my camera too.
i made this thread but have no pictures to add.
whats up with that!!?!?!?
i have tons of birds that come out of the woods and fields.
have to find my camera first though, its in the closet just have to see where at!!

I live in the south, but the birds can't tell by the weather we're having. I think they've all flown FURTHER south for the winter. When I look outside right now, all I see is white on the ground and white falling from the sky. No birds. But, they'll be back soon enough.
 
preservation acres- weve got about 10 inches of snow on the ground and flurries. the birds flock right before a big snow storm. they did a few days ago before we got the 10 inches. would believe how many birds there were. ALOT BELIEVE ME!!!!!!

I had a whole flock of Black Bellied Whistling Tree Ducks last fall...got so bad they were starving my domestic ducks...one morning I counted 36 of the little buggers...will hunt for the pics we snapped and post in a bit...also have our share of cattle Egrets, Hawks, Buzzards, Pileated Woodpeckers and gazillions of others...

We have lots of cardinals, Carolina wrens, pileated and red-bellied woodpeckers right now.

It's a genetic mutation that causes a lack of pigment in some of the feathers
This one lived in my back yard for a couple of years and raised normal looking babies

i still havent found my camera. i will look later so i can post some pics. i can see some birds outside right there. there all over all the time.

i saw one that was completly white. very pretty!!!!

ive also seen a white red tailed hawk. there called partial albino red tailed hawk. http://www.backyardbirdcam.com/gallery/hawk-white-lg1.jpg
