Hi all! I have decided to get my familys first ducks! I think Cayugas are the breed I have decided on.We will be getting 3 of them. I would love to see your ducks, and where you got them from. Im waiting on some to come in to my local feed store that is Big R,problem is when I asked where they order from, they said they werent allowed to tell me! Weird huh? Anyways Id love to see your ducks!

Difference between the two Cayugas....one was a SLUG MACHINE! She never stopped eating them things, of course I liked that she kept my garden clean but I didn't like the pooch she developed due to her pigginess.

I would be pretty upset if a store didn't tell me where the ducks were born. You want to make sure that the place gets tested, etc.

Regardless, maralynn28's babies are adorable! My Cayuga x Khaki Campbell-Cayuga mixed ducklings look exactly like her Cayuga ducklings.

My Cayuga, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew, is a lot of fun. He doesn't like to be held, but he loves to be around people. Since he's a new daddy, he can't be with his girl, Beaker, or his babies. Beaker is a crested Khaki Campbell x Cayuga mix. She's a sweetheart. She LOVES to cuddle. Currently, Bunsen is outside with the chickens, which he hates (but he loves to be outside in the chicken run).

Bunsen, enjoying a bath before he was booted outside:

I cant believe how cute baby ducks can be! Ive decided to wait for a particular feed store that orders from Mcmurray(which I just found out drop ships from Metzers!) I will be sure to post pictures as soon as they come in-whenever that might be! I feel like Im waiting to go into labor or something. The suspense is making me crazy!
