This is where ours is now - still some changes to be made to their chicken yard in the future though!

Here's my urban backyard coop! Nearly finished. Will be getting chicks in spring and I wanted to get most of it done before it was too cold outside. It is a little bit wonky that the roof drains right back to the side of the garage but we'll be adding a gutter to drain into our rain barrel. This was about the only place I could put it with the city regulations.

Milwaukee, WI! What is the square footage on your coop & run? I am having a hard time designing something that meets the City of Milwaukee's requirements, without taking up our entire backyard!

We designed and built from scratch an 8x10 chicken shed. The run isn’t done yet, but here are a few pics of where we are at. The chicken door is temporary until we get a steel guillotine style door and the run will be built this weekend. Right now they’re only outside in the pen with supervision. Any suggestions welcome, we’re new to this!
