Your comment about Polish being in the mix got me thinking, so I looked and it does look like like a V comb, so that does lend credence to some polish ancestry in the mix.

I think you are right about they being mottled Houdan x Salmon Faverolles. Most of them have 5 toes and feathered legs. And they all look like a houdan with a single comb.
