Post pictures of your run

Quote:
Wet run is not a problem.
The rain washes all the poop through the sand and it stays really clean.
The chickens go inside when it rains hard.

If it ever needs cleaning, I can turn out 6 screws on the end wall and lift the entire wall off. So far that has not been necessary.
I added a 2x3 door to the run so I can reach in and give them treats, garden scraps and kitchen leftovers.
It is works great in the summer. I can reach in with a long rake very easily to clean any scraps out.
The picture is from a trail cam scanning for predators but shows the door reasonably well. The feeding door is in the background behind the dogs tail. I can't do any better pics because the whole thing is under snow now.

You can check my BYC page too. Its the one labeled "buiding the SuperRun".- Ken

I can't believe it, its been a while since I checked my pages. The SuperRun is not finished in the photos compared to being completely done now. The entire roof is made of welded wire that is nailed down to 2x4s on end. The area right by my run door, I covered in metal tin roofing the length of the run so the birds would have at least one dry area to be in if it rained. I also installed outside roosts for the girls. I will try to find updated photos on my computer and get them uploaded onto by page. Good Luck!
