no they were a local breeder the grown bird looked really good great pattens. But i was not sure why the had so much black on them some look like some of the above pic i have 15 going to keep one room and 6 hen that have the best color pattern. what age do they start laying

Do you know where they got their breeding stock from?

Time will tell how yours turn out and how much their lacing improves. I'm betting tho they'll lay you a nice amount of eggs tho whether their lacing improves or not. My wyandottes usually start laying by 24 weeks I think....maybe a bit later. Kind of depends on the time of the year.
