Please post any pic of SLW chick any age. I have 15 most of them most are black with a little white some have more white. Just want to compare mine to yours. I got them form a few local breeders. Will try to post pic of mine tomorrow.

I'm drooling

I'd use the little drooling smiley, but it always looks like it's doing something more than drooling to me!!​

Katy, yours will grow up to be just as nice!!!!

Remember, it takes 18 months to reach full maturity on a Wyandotte....that sure is a LOT of feed...... I don't have the drooling guy on mine??? Do I have to upload more?

eta: hopefully Mr. Turbo doesn't catch me on BYC again. I am supposed to be doing laundry today....everyone is out of clothes. Yes hunny, I fed and watered the chicks and ducklings..oh and the kids too......lol

These are mine will they get more of the lace look as they get older. Does it take 18 months for them to lay an egg.

I hope they do! I know they've got the potential in them.

There is nothing wrong with your birds, but if they came from a hatchery they breed for quantity, not quality and they don't breed for the breed standard.

It doesn't take them 18 months to lay, but it's that long before they reach maturity.

Both the silver and gold laced Wyandottes are so pretty to me. I want some!!
