POST SOME PICS OF YALLS BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL EASTER EGGERS

c.wilson :

they are beautiful..when did u take the pic of them...evernything is all so green and pretty aound them..here its snowy

I'm not exactly sure when I took the picture. Sometime this summer. I noticed as I was posting it that Maybelline (in front) has a tiny little comb, so she wasn't laying yet. She's laying now, and is laying really big, round eggs. Both lay blue eggs, but they turn green after being refrigerated. Odd, huh?

My only EE at the moment... my son's hen (still waiting on her to lay an egg!)

I love my EEs! Wish I had room for a lot more of them! Aurora laid her first egg today...it was olive green and perfect. It was my first EE egg!!

I never knew chickens come in so many colors and color combinations. I just can't get enough of them. I also love looking at all the pictures of peoples chickens on here. I used to think only Parrots were the most colorful birds, but now I think chickens are right up there with them. Only they have another thing going for them.... they give you nice eggs to eat!!!!. I love all my chickies, I only wish I had room for more, more, more.lol

Here's my Cleo when she was around four months old or so:

She's almost a year old now, and more filled out. I'll try to get a more recent pic up soon.
