I went to a small animal auction this past Sunday and there were 4 dog houses...painted up all nice and fancy-like. I figured they'd go pretty high.....Bidding started at $15 and I bid $16........wait for it.......and no one else bid so I won the auction. I ended up taking 2 of them and my friend who was w/me took the other two. You can't buy the wood to make these things for $32.

They're super heavy too. Bottoms and inside are not painted....gonna do that before I put them to use.

.....and now for the pics:
This one has a cute little water wheel on the right side of it. Apparently it originally had a solar powered pump that made it turn....but I have a plug in pump that I may just use to see how it works.

You can see the water wheel in this pic.

Little Giant incubator with egg turner for $10 at a Yard Sale. I have gotten lots of cooking utensils from Yard Sales too.

my grandmother (she's a yardsale addict lol) got some silverware from a yardsale that turned out to be actual silver. she was able to sell it for several times the amount she paid for it

those doghouses are so cute! they'd make awsome 'mini-coops' if put doors on them

This is a thrift shop steal! Found a bunch of brand new in the box Tony Lama boots. Bought 3 pairs for 40 dollars each, sold one pair for $210 and the second pair for $185 on eBay. When I realized what they were going to sell for I went back to thrift store but they were all gone!

I got an austrailian saddle in excellent condition, looks hardly used, just needs a coat of saddle oil... paid $35 for it at an auction a couple of months ago. and a 3 yr old percheron draft horse for $150.

I stopped by the thriftstore today and got:

j jill long sleeve t shirt in a pretty floral pattern,
button down tailored Jones & Co shirt,
pair talbots jeans,
pair j jill jeans,
part chocolate brown embroidered Jones & Co crop pants,
a Echo button down shirt plaid for my son and
a black dress shirt for the other son (VanHeusen)

All look like either never worn or worn once or twice.

And it was $2 day....
