Post your best "senior moments"

Well my DD swears we have conversations that I can't remember

I should plead the fifth on this one...

Lost my cell phone...found it in the fridge last weekend.

Have driven my car over in town for errands, forgot I was
driving and walked home. Very annoying to have to ask my
wife, "Where's the car?"

Have put my tie on for church, only to realize I've forgotten my shirt.

And sadly, have walked over to town, stopped to talk to a neighbor.
He had a good looking dog, I said something about how much his dog
looked like my dog...That was my dog, he had followed me.

Bought my wife a new craftsman riding mower a few years ago. She went
to cutting the front yard. Round and round. I never said a thing. She forgot
to turn the blades on...

See?...I should of just never said a thing...

Ahhhrrggg......Chicken fertilizer, just last night I turned on the shower, then got distracted. Two hours later I found it running with no hot water left. (I probably shouldn't have told this story)

P.S. Not a real senior moment, but the kids went to Walmart and saw their Mothers car parked up close. They had spare key, so they moved her car out and over a couple rows. She spent some time looking for her car not realizing it had been moved, she forgot where she parked it-----she thought.

I'm far from being a senior, but hey, it happens to the youngest of us...

A couple months ago I was getting ready to change my guitar strings, and was looking for my string winder. I nearly tore the whole house apart, looked in everyone's room, including my own, and could not find it. I was nearly going insane because I really needed it! I even blamed my little brother and sister for taking it! Well, it finally came out that I had given it to my best friend back in January, because she was moving out country and wouldn't be able to get one, so I have it to her saying that I was going to buy another one.

And ther have been many times where I've been looking for something and I've had it somewhere on me the whole time.

I have gone to the drive thru at the bank, and that little thing that goes up and down the tube with money, or a pen? I have taken that home with me, more than once. They laugh and tell me that it's ok, they have extras. But they won't tell me how many they have.

I kind of did the same thing last week when I was running water to take a bath. I forgot to flip the stopper thing and realized it right before I was ready to step in.

And, of course, I'm famous for setting things (books, movies, etc) next to my purse to return and going into town with the express purpose to return them only to get there and realize I left whatever it was on the table at home.
