I wish I had thought of that. I finally had to call my.mom to help get it out and left the other two in lol these are really heavy. And luckily the dog was on his leash and couldn't get anywhere near them

Here is the coop we built for out chickens this year, it's insulated better than out house so the chickens can survive the winters here.

Wow!!I love your cabin! We built two cabin coops out of landscape timbers to match our cabin. We are not lucky enough to be able to collect logs for construction here. Can't wait to see more pics! Awesome job! Add as many windows as you can. You know how dark the inside of a cabin can be. Our 1st coop 8x12 has two windows so that flock gets extra light supplemented with a daylight bulb in the fall. The new coop 10x16 has 4 windows for a flock who are not laying yet. We have discussed adding more windows to each next year. I really wish I could save that pic to show my spouse. Great job! And yes I wish I could have one.
