Well. I've got to make my outdoor brooder sooner than I thought. My husband took the kids to get breakfast and a bale of hay.... Forgot the food and brought home 6 baby chicks. 3 Dominique and 3 bantam babies.

mad scramble to find spare heat, water and feed items. They were still packed up. I've never had Bantams. They are SO... Tiny.

There cute u people just bring chickens home all the time heck I thought I was the crazy one I would do the same thing but heck I was the one chasing a chicken around the tractor supply par king lot I didn't want it to get hit on the road so I was going to catch it and bring it home with me

My husband said no more. Then I hatched some for Valentine's Day and only had 12 hatch so he said I could get a few chicks to add to them. Now he brings these home and I have my Easter hatch I just put in

I about hit the floor when he walked in with them. Then he says "they were out of what I wanted so I have to go back later!"

I think I infected him with my crazy chicken syndrome

I agree. We all go off topic once in a while but I do think this should get back to a coop building thread.
