post your chicken coop pictures here!

Ok thanks, is it expensive and how do I clean out the run?

depending on how much you can get it from a soil and gravel company delivered by the yard. Tell then the square footage and the depth and they will tell you how much it will cost. i had three yards of it delivered for my horse corral and it ran me under 200 three yards is enough to cover almost 24 x 24 corral ....

I wanted to update photos of my run. It has a sliding pocket door on it. I designed it to be a tight fit and there is only about 1/2" clearance at the door. When closed, there is 3" overlap on each side between the 2 "walls" of hardware cloth. Mice may get in, but I think that is a risk with regularly opening doors. I just didnt want to give up space for a swinging door as that grass is going to become an herb garden and walkway next spring.

All I have left is a hinged roof (so I can stand up in there!) and it will be ready for the ladies.

Clearance between door and walls.

Oh and that little box on the end was made specifically for a chicken swing.

That's awesome! are you able to walk/sit in the coop? do you have plans for it and if so, could i see them?

I can stand in the front of the coop, it is about 6 ft. and in the rear is about 5ft.
I don't have any plans on paper, they are in my head,
I new what I wanted to do, and just started building and some tweaking as I went.
I'm happy with it, and my chicks will be here in the next day or two

thanks
