I wish it was that warm up here! only 42 right now. Not that Im whining Id rather have to add layers of cloths there's only so much I can take off and still leave my house. I don't like the heat.

Living in Colorado we actually have been having some pretty nice weather for this time of year. Although we did hit a low of 23 degrees 5 days ago this week its mid to upper 60's during the day and mid to upper 30's at night. It's suppose to cool off starting Monday with highs in the upper 50's with lows right at freezing.

I've got to come up with a coop plan for my Seramas....don't think I want to have them in the front porch all winter....noticed a cloud of bedding coming from the window side of the cages....the little red pullet was having a good time taking a dust bath....wow what a mess! They need to go outside....with supplemental heat....but out!

This is my 6x14 "penthouse" coop. My neighbor liked it so much she asked for an 8x24 just like it...delivering it tomorrow.

I don't blame ya Popster my hubby was having a fit last spring when my Icelandics were in the house longer than I told him they would be. Dust was everywhere....... then I brought home bantams and a couple turkeys LOL I don't have a garage yet so I had to keep em warm somewhere.

I would love to visit Colorado sometime. I hear Its beautiful country.

I like It Em! How many chickens do you have? I am happy I spent the extra time and $ covering my runs so much drier and doesn't stink plus Im pretty sure my girls are terrified of snow lol
