I guess I knew in the back of my brain that long distance relationships are not for me. I need that physical closeness [hug when I'm sad, etc.] and I just knew that even if we went through with a relationship, it wouldn't last long. I think he knew that too.
As far as hugs.. you need to let family help you with that and build up a healthy relationship with them. Relying on a guy for that unless he is to be your life mate can cause repercussions to your emotional health.Military people manage long distance relationships all the time FYI
And it is not because I am telling you to be with him, I am telling you to not believe that stereotype, If it is meant to be you better believe it will last!
