19 weeks and 6 days! Long wait even if it is a little early. They have been looking like they were going to for about 3 weeks.
The white egg is a store bought egg put there for comparison.

At 9 months of age, I got my first egg! She must have read what I posted last night and got busy. This is from Hecuba my blue breasted red OEG. She didn't lay in the box, but that's okay

We cracked it open and it has a small yolk. It's smaller than a bobby pin

I got my first egg today from one of my Red Sexlinks.

They are only 14 weeks old!!!

We just got our first egg today and its huge, 2 3/8 oz. We are not sure who laid it, all of our girls are 20 weeks and a day (1BA, 2BO, 1 red sex link, and 1 speckled sussex). My money is on Star our red sex link.

My little red girl Stewie laid her first egg today. I bought her 18 weeks ago TODAY, so she is 18-19 weeks old today. I don't know what kind fo red she is. RIR, New Hampshire, Production?
